Let’s Play Make Believe

Let’s make believe that we don’t always have to do the same thing. Every kitchen has granite, every desk has a wood top, ceilings always white….well, you get the idea. So, along comes a client with a great idea for her new built-in desk. She hands me a page torn out from a magazine, and on the page is a close-up of a basket weave and a bird’s nest in another picture. She says “I want a basket weave desk top and a bird’s nest in the corner”.

I loved, loved, loved the idea!
